These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Court Munshi (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is intended for advocates, legal chambers and practices for managing cases, hearings, clients, documents and payments. You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our third-party payment gateway. Prices are subject to change with prior notice on this page or within the Service. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
The Basic plan is offered free of charge for the first 12 months from account creation. After this period, continued use of the Basic plan will be billed at the then-applicable monthly rate unless you cancel or switch plans beforehand.
You may cancel or downgrade your subscription at any time from within the Service. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle; you will continue to have access to your paid plan's features until then. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
You retain ownership of all case, client and document data you enter into the Service. We act only as a processor of this data on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you upload.
The Court Munshi name, logo, software and website content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our branding except as necessary to use the Service.
Hearing reminders, notifications and reports generated by the Service are tools to help you organise your practice. They are not a substitute for your own professional diligence, and Court Munshi is not responsible for missed hearings, deadlines or filings arising from reliance on the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Court Munshi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue or professional opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates or changes to the Service from time to time, with reasonable notice where practical.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to pay applicable fees. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the Service's account settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
For any questions about these Terms, please reach out through our Contact page.
